MUEVO’s 5 Key Connections
to This Year’s IMD Theme
This year’s International Museum Day theme, “Museums Uniting a Divided World”, highlights the role of museums as spaces of dialogue, exchange, and collective memory.
At MUEVO, these ideas are deeply connected to the way we approach exhibition-making and museum craftsmanship.
Here are five ways in which our work resonates with this year’s theme:
Mission & Identity:
MUEVO stands for Museum Evolution. Through the development of custom showcases and display solutions, we contribute to the creation of dynamic exhibition environments that support the way museums communicate with their audiences. As a technical company dedicated to the museum sector, we operate at the intersection of culture and engineering, combining the best of both worlds.
Scope of Work:
From the production of display cases and unique constructions, to the retrofitting of heritage cases and the implementation of total exhibition fit-outs, our work relies on a wide spectrum of museum expertise. Moreover, our projects can be found in archaeological museums, historical monuments, galleries and other cultural institutions, reflecting the diverse elements that form today’s museum mosaic.
Team Organisation & In-House Production:
MUEVO brings together a multi-disciplinary team of more than 60 qualified professionals, while our in-house manufacturing facility, comprises eight specialized departments that collectively form a complete production line dedicated to museums. Collaboration across disciplines lies at the core of both our organisational structure and our creative process.
Driving Force:
Regardless of background or expertise, we are united by a shared commitment to the creation of museum showcases and exhibition installations that highlight and honour our global cultural heritage. We believe in the power of museums to preserve memory, inspire dialogue, and connect people across cultures and generations.
Spirit of Collaboration:
Our work is rooted in continuous collaboration with international teams and museum professionals from diverse fields. These partnerships foster meaningful exchanges and establish connections through which we are able to enrich our collective knowledge, and expand our creative perspective –reaffirming the importance of dialogue within the global museum community.
