Pharaoh of the Two Lands

Louvre, Paris

In spring 2022, the Louvre presented to the public a temporary exhibition titled “Pharaoh of the Two Lands: The African Epic of the Kings of Napata”.

Commissioned by Vincent Rondot, Director of the Egyptian Antiquities Department, Pharaoh of the Two Lands was the first exhibition dedicated to the prominence of the Kushite dynasty to take place in France.

The exhibition ran from April 27th to July 25th and occupied the museum’s vast Napoleon Hall, whose special scenography was carried out by Catherine Arborati.

On this occasion, MUEVO developed and produced more than 130 display cases and supporting structures to house the 460 delicate artefacts that were brought together for the purposes of this exposition.

Our team also undertook the dismantling process, following the closing of the event.
