Hellenic Parliament

Athens, Greece

In honor of the bicentenary celebration of the National Rebirth, the Parliament of the Greeks organized a special, celebratory exhibition, dedicated to the Revolution of 1821.

The exhibition, titled “Facing Freedom! In the Parliament of the Greeks, two centuries later” continues to adorn the Hall of Trophies and the Hall of Advocates on the first floor of the Hellenic Parliament.

MUEVO was proud to contribute to the production of this exhibition, which brings together a diverse range of artefacts, including paintings and engravings, statuettes and medals, decorative vases, clocks, and plates, all of significant historical and artistic value for the cultural identity of the Greek nation.

On this occasion, our company provided more than ten unique display cases of different forms, in accordance with the presentational needs of each display.

In order to highlight the significance of the artefacts and the magnitude of the exhibition space, our design followed minimal and transparent lines, whilst matching the aesthetics of the building’s impressive interiors.

The public can still experience the exhibition virtually in the dedicated website, or directly, by organizing a visit at the Hellenic Parliament.

Completion Date: 2021

Type: Temporary exhibition

Exhibition Design: Dr. Thodoris Koutsogiannis
