Such influential was the impact of the great French sculptor in the art historical canon, that the world renowned Musée d’Orsay decided to dedicate a special space to exhibit some of his finest works.
Following the relocation of August Rodin’s seminal masterpiece, the Gates of Hell, MUEVO was selected to provide new display cases and supporting systems for the rest of the master’s sculptures that are housed in the terrace gallery, now named after him.
MUEVO’s engineering team focused on achieving utmost minimalism and transparency. This way, museum visitors can marvel at The Thinker’s reflections sans distractions.
The gallery has been open to the public since spring 2022.
