Donatello Gallery

Louvre, Paris

Part of the Louvre’s Denon Wing, the Donatello Gallery is home to the museum’s collection of artworks by the eponymous master of Italian renaissance.

In 2024, the Louvre Museum issued a tender for the renovation of the Donatello Gallery, which was awarded to our company in early 2025.

Working in close collaboration with several museum stakeholders and the team of architect-museographers, MUEVO carried out a timelessly elegant scenography that mainly consisted of casework in bold and robust lines.

In line with the architect’s vision, we developed twelve bespoke showcases in two distinct typologies, while also providing various pieces of additional exhibition equipment. Designed to echo the gallery’s architectural language while ensuring perfect harmony with its masterpieces, the display cases featured stone-clad bases and thick metal frames.

The gallery opened to the public in late 2025, marking another successful collaboration between our company and the Louvre.

Completion Date: 2025

Type: Permanent Collection

Scenography: AAFG – Fabien Gantois Architectures
