Ioannis Martinos Hall

National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens is one of the few academic institutions in Greece that has its own archaeological museum, belonging to the School of Philosophy.

The museum’s archaeological collection was recently enriched with the donation of approximately 855 antiquities dating from early Cycladic civilization to Byzantine times, from the private collection of Ms Eleni Martinou.

With the contributions of MUEVO, university students now have the opportunity to study the antiquities of major civilizations just right next to the university’s amphitheaters.

Completion Date: 2019

Type: University Museum
