In 2018, MUEVO undertook the construction and installation of new display cases for the “Parthenon” and “Olympia” rooms of the Louvre’s Department of Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities that are situated in the Denon Pavilion.

MUEVO created custom display cases for the presentation of rare and valuable ancient Greek exhibits, using metal and stone in dark color to give a sense of Doric austerity and highlight the exhibits without any visual distractions. The display cases were equipped with the latest maintenance and ventilation systems, all in line with the stringent quality specifications of the Louvre Museum.

The project at Denon Pavilion is very important for our company. Not only did it  mark the beginning of our collaboration with one of the largest and most prominent museum institutions in the world, but we are also very proud that this collaboration began with a project dedicated to the ancient civilization of our native Greece.
